FAQ-015 Will the battery physically fit and how is it mounted?
Measure the battery tray length, width, height, hold-down locations, cable routing, charger access, and seat clearance before ordering. FAQ-016 How should 12V accessories be powered?
Do not tap part of a lithium battery pack to power 12V accessories. DigiMarker CS, CS-Plus, and HP golf cart battery kits include 12V DC-DC accessory power support. Parallel / Series
FAQ-018 Can the batteries be connected in parallel?
Some DigiMarker models support parallel operation, and some do not. CS48100-P and CS-Plus 67Ah models support up to 2 matching units in parallel. HP Series golf cart batteries do not support parallel connection. Batteries must be the same model, same voltage, same capacity, same generation, healthy, and at similar SOC before connection.
FAQ-019 Can the batteries be connected in series?
Do not connect DigiMarker golf cart battery packs in series to raise system voltage unless DigiMarker has approved the exact setup in writing. Series wiring beyond design limits can trigger BMS protection, damage the battery, and affect warranty coverage.
FAQ-020 Do lithium batteries need to be balanced before wiring together?

A correct LiFePO4 charger is designed to stop, taper, or maintain safely according to its profile, but long-term unattended charging is not the same as storage. Charge in a dry, ventilated area away from flammable materials. For storage, turn off loads and keep the battery around 50%-80% SOC instead of leaving it connected indefinitely.
FAQ-024 Does the battery need to be turned on to charge?

FAQ-027 Do I need to charge after each use?
You do not have to fully charge after every short ride, but avoid leaving the battery deeply discharged. For best life, recharge before the battery gets very low, around 20% remaining during regular use, and keep it at a partial charge for long-term storage.
FAQ-028 Can I opportunity charge or top up the battery anytime?

FAQ-033 Can I charge the battery in cold or extreme temperatures?
Standard DigiMarker CS and CS-Plus golf cart batteries should be charged from 0°C to 45°C. HP self-heating models can charge from -10°C to 45°C. Discharging is supported down to -35°C and up to 65°C, but charging below the allowed range can damage LiFePO4 cells, so let the battery warm to a safe temperature first.

FAQ-034 What should I check if the charger will not charge or shows an error?

FAQ-036 What is the BMS and what does it protect?

FAQ-037 What happens during a short-circuit or high-current protection event?

FAQ-065 How long is the battery warranty?
DigiMarker HP golf cart batteries carry a 10-year warranty when registered within 90 days of purchase: years 1-5 free repair or full replacement, years 6-7 50% discount, and years 8-10 25% discount on a new replacement battery. DigiMarker CS golf cart batteries carry an 8-year warranty when registered within 90 days: years 1-4 free repair or full replacement, years 5-6 50% discount, and years 7-8 25% discount. FAQ-066 What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects and qualifying BMS or electrical failures under normal use, subject to the official Warranty Policy. During the full coverage period, an approved valid claim may qualify for repair or full replacement. During prorated or discounted periods, qualifying replacement is offered at the applicable discount from the retail price at the time of replacement.
FAQ-067 What is not covered or what voids the warranty?
Common exclusions include improper installation, loose terminals, reverse polarity, insufficient cable sizing, faulty cart electrical systems, improper storage, extreme temperatures, water submersion, pressure washing, physical damage, unauthorized opening or modification, improper charging, over-discharge, and commercial abuse as defined in the official Warranty Policy.
FAQ-068 What is the warranty on the charger/accessories?
DigiMarker chargers and accessories are covered for 1 year under the warranty policy. Built-in or supplied 12V DC-DC converters are also covered for 1 year; if a built-in converter fails under normal use, DigiMarker may ship an external replacement converter without requiring the full battery to be returned.
FAQ-069 Is the warranty transferable?
No. DigiMarker warranty coverage is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of ownership is required for warranty claims.
FAQ-070 What usage limitations affect warranty or safe operation?

FAQ-071 Are lithium / LiFePO4 batteries safe?
LiFePO4 is one of the more stable lithium chemistries and is widely used in deep-cycle applications. DigiMarker batteries add BMS protection for voltage, current, temperature, short-circuit, and balancing events. Safety still depends on correct installation, correct charger, proper wiring, and following the manual.

FAQ-072 When should the battery be turned on/off or put in power-save mode?
Turn the battery on for normal operation and charging when required by the model. Turn off the main switch or breaker for installation, service, transport, and long-term storage. If the battery or display appears asleep, pressing the power button or connecting the compatible charger may wake it, depending on the model.

FAQ-073 How deep can the battery be discharged?
DigiMarker LiFePO4 batteries are built for deep-cycle use, but repeated full discharge and especially storage at empty SOC should be avoided. The warranty policy treats severe over-discharge seriously: pack voltage below 1V is not covered, and a battery stored fully discharged for more than 1 year is not covered. Recharge before the battery gets very low.
