A Lithium Upgrade and a Diamond Plate Fix for a 6-Seater Dynamic Enforcer

The battery was the straightforward part of this job. When installer Drew Fontaine took on a customer's 6-seater Dynamic Enforcer, he found the factory battery tray underneath had rusted out. The new DIGI MARKER 48V 105Ah needed something solid to sit on, so he built it: a custom diamond plate platform, made and installed before the pack went in.

The Tray Under the Battery

In his review, Drew put it plainly: “Since the cart factory battery tray was rusted out, I fabricated and installed a custom diamond plate mounting platform underneath to secure the battery properly.”

Voltage and capacity decide which battery fits the cart. Whether the structure under it can still carry a battery is a separate question, and an easy one to skip. The DIGI MARKER HP-series manual puts mounting brackets and hold-downs on its periodic inspection list, and the tray on this cart shows what they are there for.

Room to Spare

“The installation left plenty of extra space,” Drew wrote. One pack took up less of the compartment than what it replaced, and the photos show the diamond plate platform with space around it.

What goes around a battery matters as much as what goes under it. The manual asks for cables and connectors seated properly, routed away from heat, sharp edges and moving parts, with terminals and the display checked before the cart goes back out. For anyone auditing their own install, that list is short: what the battery sits on, what holds it down, where the cables run.

What the Customer Noticed

The driver's seat is where the upgrade showed. Drew wrote that “the customer immediately noticed the improvement in power and overall performance,” and singled out the built-in safety features and “the large touchscreen display that comes with the system.”

His summary of the job: the customer was “extremely satisfied with the upgrade” and is thrilled with the performance and reliability the new setup provides. Drew did the metalwork, the customer got the cart back with a battery that no longer depends on a rusted tray.
